Introduction to College of Adult Education of Jiamusi University

    Based on the powerful managerial conditions and teaching forces, College of Continuing Education of Jiamusi University specializes in adult education, self-study examination education, continuing education and remote education. It consists of College Office, Admissions Office, Office of Continuing Education, Self-Study Examination, Teaching Management Office, Student Records Management Office, and Student Affairs Office (Youth League Committee). It has more than 50 undergraduate and vocational majors on the ten disciplines such as literature, science, engineering, medicine, economics, education, law, history, management, agriculture, science and so on.
    Based on "one center", "two keys" and "three changes", College of Continuing Education adheres to scientific development with the concept of an open school, and is trying to seize the opportunities of innovation and practice so as to improve the comprehensive aspects of the college.
    The college continues to actively seize the opportunities to expand school scale and boost the joint educational efforts. So far, it has successively cooperated with others universities inside and outside the province and has established more than 20 educational institutions. College of adult education has now 12560 students (including 8265 undergraduates and 4295 junior college students), among them 2829 correspondence undergraduates (2703 undergraduates and 126 junior college students), the Amateur 4024 (2472 undergraduates and 1552 junior college students), the full-time 5707 (3090 undergraduates and 2617 junior college students); and Self-Study Examination 615 students (425 undergraduates and 190 junior college students).
College adheres to the teaching as the center, focusing on strengthening students¡¯ innovation and the quality of education and teaching. For many years the college has trained more than 50000 graduates throughout the country's 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and they have made important contributions to the country's economic construction and social development. The college won many titles such as Heilongjiang Adult Recruitment Advanced Unit, Jiamusi Honest Construction Advanced Collective, Jiamusi Advanced Collective, Jiamusi Advanced Basic-level Party Organization, Jiamusi University Advanced Collective and Jiamusi University Advanced Basic-level Party Organization.
