Introduction

   The Educational Science College of Jiamusi University was founded in August 2009 by the former Education College of Jiamusi University and The Basic Education College.
The College has two full-time subjects, Educational Technology and Pre-school Education. The subject of Psychology was newly approved. It will start recruiting students in 2010. "Principles of Education," has been built the colonel-level key disciplines; "Pre-professional" has become the important subject of University.  "Pedagogy" and "Psychology" has become the Excellent Course of university. The College has Education and Psychology Institute; the pre-school education,  educational technology, education, psychology, teaching vocational skills, pre-professional skills , the six teaching and research rooms.
   The College has the strong faculty. The current faculty of forty-five, in which thirty-five full-time teachers, one professor, ten associate professors and ten lecturers; fourteen teachers have a master's degree, two people at the Ph.D, three people at the Master.
. The College has complete hardware. There are multi-media, conventional media, linear editing, nonlinear editing, advertising design, audio processing, six laboratories; a Mongolian fur shuttle profit education and training rooms, language lab, electronic piano room and dance room, two flower rooms ; the total amount of the experimental equipment is more than 400 million yuan
    The College put emphasis on the construction of education and teaching quality, the teaching level and quality of personnel training continues to increase. Jiamusi University Institute of Educational Science, the subject of Educational Technology was founded in 2002. The subject of educational technology develops the teachers who are qualified for all levels of education technical institutions, capable of performing all kinds of large and medium information technology courses, as well as the senior experts in the field of education in instructional media and instructional systems design, development, utilization, management and evaluation of educational technology. At the same time, it develops the practical high-level talents who can adapt the modern information society, the demand for digital media, technology applications, digital video and audio synthesis and creation, digital media software design and development, digital film and television program production, digital media management, network engineering design and maintenance, website development and maintenance work.
The subject of Educational Technology has ten full-time teachers, including two associate professors, three lecturers, three with a master's degree in full-time teachers.

Preschool Education Major of school of Education Science, Jiamusi University, is the only Major of four-year normal education to train the talent in the early childhood education and teaching in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province. The enrollment began in 2000, it has reached a high educational level after nearly a decade of development, trained a large number of outstanding preschool professionals.

The major trains preschool teachers who can meet the socialist market economy's need. They develop fully in morality, intellect, body and aesthetics, have the professional knowledge and skills of preschool education, and can be able to engage in teaching, managing and researching in various types kindergartens and other such early educational institutions. The major also trains managers and researchers for some regulartory agency. It can even provide professional personnel for some publishing companys and educational companys to develop early childhood curriculum, comply early childhood textbooks.

The major consists of 18 faculty members, including seven teachers with senior title, one teacher reading the doctoral degree, nine postgraduates, and has five teachers with high level of professional skills. The power of teaching staff is strong. It has modern teaching facilities and equipment (professional dance rehearsal rooms, English language lab, piano and electric organ classrooms, media laboratory). The existing resources can meet the needs of high level of education and teaching.

The preschool education major has a broad prospect, because the professional personne are in great demand. Since the foundation of the major, it has transported a large number of talented people to the kindergartens and primary schools in Beijing, Shanghai, Changzhou, Suzhou, Shijiazhuang, Harbin, Jiamusi and other places. Psychology Major of school of Education Science of Jiamusi University was approved in 2009, began to enroll undergraduate students in 2010. The major trains the application-oriented high-level personnel who can meet the socialist market economy's need. They develop fully in morality, intellect, body and aesthetics, comprehensively and coordinatedly with a solid psychological basic theory, basic knowledge, basic skills. They can serve in schools, enterprises or institutions, medical institutions, community services or such other institutions, be engaged in mental health education, psychological counseling and human resources management.
The professional training is set two directions: First, the direction of school mental health education, mainly to train the specialized psychological teachers and psychological counseling and treatment professionals for the primary and secondary schools, health care agencies, communities. Second, human resource development and management direction, mainly to train the management personnel for organs, enterprises, institutions, communities, and judicial departments.
The major has sixteen teachers, including one professor, seven associate professors, five lecturers, three teaching assistants ,one was conferred PhD, eight with a master's degree.
The major has more than 100 pieces of traditional psychology experimental equipments, the psychology lab is under construction.
